  • Conclusion: With the need for GPU coolers to cool our video cards better, we always think bigger is better. What happens with these larger GPU coolers we see or use, is that these types of coolers eat up precious slots that we may need the use of the PCI expansion’s slots that our motherboards provide.

  • Conclusion: You have a cost effective, compact, good performing VGA cooling solution and you’re still reading this? You should already be ordering it. I highly recommend the GFXChilla to anyone looking to cool off their newer gaming video card while also trying to keep the noise down. It may not perform as well as the HR-03 GT, but it’s not that far off. The installation is also very easy, a major plus to most users.

Coolink GFXChilla Review

22 May 2008
  • Conclusion: Coolink has thoroughly impressed me with their new GFXChilla. It is an incredibly potent cooler, able to maintain a GPU load temperature almost 40°C below that of our OEM ATI cooler—all while doing so at lower noise levels. The GFXChilla is a very versatile cooler as well, compatible with just about every graphics card out there. The best part about the GFXChilla, however, is its price. At only $30, Coolink’s GFXChilla is an incredible value.
  • Pros: Great performance!, Good build quality, Compatible with dozens of cards, Fantastic price (a steal at $30)
  • Cons: Weak and finicky adhesive on ramsinks, Mounting posts difficult to tighten
