Summary: The fan's connector is 4-pin. To make it work with a 3-pin motherboard connector, you may have to shave off some of the keying plastic and pop out & reposition the wires (or buy an adapter).
Pros: Cools a bit better than the stock AMD 939 cooler. Took off six degrees celsius. Has a nice L shape that allows it to go over the top of other motherboard components instead of hitting them.
Cons: The bracket provided for 939 sockets doesn't apply nearly enough pressure. The brackets provided for 775 sockets are great (if you're very careful not to break the plastic pins) but there's no instructions on how much to tighten down the screw. You just have to guess. Tighten it too little and co...
Summary: I've own/owned many Cooler Master products. I have the HAF 932, HAF 922, and Storm Stryker cases, 3 Hyper 212+, Siedon 120M, and countless fans from them. The Siedon 120M I returned to NewEgg because it sound like there was ball-bearings bouncing around inside it.
Pros: Replacement legs are much better. They are are made of a black plastic, which feels solid. I like their push-pin design over Intel's. Very easy to install. Keeps my i5-2500K at 40C idle.
Cons: I wanted to add to my review from last May. I had the same experience as some of the other reviewers. The clear plastic of the push-pin legs are cheap and fragile feeling. Like, Michael, I was tightening down the screw for the CPU (not even all the way down) and a leg popped right out. The very b...
Pros: Quiet. Not much problem while installing it, just make sure that you push in a straight vertical manner so as to secure the plastic "things". Personally I like this type of mounting since it's used in an HTP : no need for a backplate, and at its size (for a 92mm fan), it won't exercise that much ...
Cons: The CPU temperature is between 40C and 45 C. at Idle... I haven't tried under gaming/full load yet, but that number makes me fear that I will have to pay close attention... Note that it's used in a Mini-ITX case (Lian Li PC-Q30). Maybe that I should've boufgt an i5-4690S version instead of the i5...
Summary: The upside of T/S is that they are very courteous in their responses and I like the cm fanzone site.
Pros: Looks good and I like the footprint design. It's high and away from ram, caps, etc. I wish I could hear it run! Newegg's free delivery was surprisingly speedy and top notch. I ordered Wednesday and got it by Friday. My neutral title concerns the cheap mounts and slooow, though very cordial, tech ...
Cons: My system has not been running, all waiting on a broken mount. One of the plastic mounts I had to use for my socket style (1366) failed as I was tightening the mounting bracket. These are very cheap plastic. I later read a review from someone with similar concerns. He wrote the plastic should be ...
Summary: I contacted Cooler Master and asked if this product was built correctly. There answer was yes, they are sorry for the misunderstanding. They are working on getting more accurate pictures for this product.
Pros: Fan is quit, easy to install with AMD CPU. Not as tall as other products. Fits well were vertical space is limited.
Cons: Surface that contacts CPU is not machined. It is an aluminum block with heat pipes pressed in. There are small gaps were the flat aluminum block and the round heat pipes meet.

Excerpt: It's clearly high excellent. Fantastic heat channels, 4 pin fan connector, lots of good points about this, but... The fan is Impossible to install. The fan installs by a couple of wire brackets that have tabs that go into the screw holes of the fan and then the two brackets squeeze-hold the fan onto...
