Nice

Donnie T., Newegg
26 January 2016
  • Summary: I got this cooler to go in my Cooler Master HAF XB case thinking I would put an Exhaust fan on the top. Not enough room.
  • Pros: Keeps my AMD FX 8350 around 24 deg under a load. Not OC..
  • Cons: Its big!!

The best cooler!

THOMAS D., Newegg
5 February 2015
  • Summary: I bought this cooler back in 2010 to cool an I7 920. I just replaced the fan because it started making noise. Now the V8 cools a six core W3690 Xeon overclocked to 4.15ghz with a max temperature of 40 degrees celcius. Couldn't be happier.
  • Pros: Great cooling. Reliable.
  • Cons: None!

Great Cooler

Dominique D., Newegg
16 September 2014
  • Pros: Excellent cooling. Kept my CPU at relatively low temps when OCing. Looked pretty sick too.
  • Cons: Obviously it's very large. If your case is anything less than a full sized tower then you may want to wait until you get that bigger case

Great CPU Cooler

christopher o., Newegg
26 March 2014
  • Summary: I bought this cooler to replace the stock cooler that came with my Phenom II x4 CPU. It took less than 20 minutes to install and has been serving me well for the past year or so.
  • Pros: Well priced, very quiet for an air cooler (even at maximum fan speed), easy installation
  • Cons: N/A

Very nice cooler

Amber C., Newegg
26 December 2013
  • Pros: It's absolutely huge, and worth it. Kept my CPU cool, even after overclocking it. Very quiet, even on the highest setting, and cheap vs. water cooling. That, and it looks awesome showing it off.
  • Cons: It's huge. I know I put it in the Pros, but it is large. Almost didn't fit in my case I got with it (which was my fault), so be careful when purchasing this fan. Other than that, nothing else wrong with it.

Second Hand Performance

Aaron H., Newegg
12 September 2013
  • Summary: I've just inherited one of these from a friend who swore it was the biggest piece of dung he'd ever owned. The fan had died on him and he was going to throw the whole thing out. I installed a new fan and then an expansion fan and put this monster in a spare computer for testing.
  • Pros: Good airflow and room to expand and install more than the one stock fan.
  • Cons: Bulky and more than a little bit of a pain to install.

Awesome!

Diego V., Newegg
22 August 2013
  • Summary: Looks awesome and cools my cpu enough for me!
  • Pros: Great temps coming from an i7 3770k at stock speeds.
  • Cons: This thing is huge, but fits inside my Antec 1100 with enough clearance. Also, the inner fan has red leds and it clashes with my blue setup, but that's purely aesthetic.

User Review

Brian F., Newegg
14 August 2013
  • Pros: easy install feels and looks rugged worth the money will recommend this product.
  • Cons: had to make a few modifications to the tower to make it fit but I knew the cooler was big and I might have to make some modifications.
