Summary: My temps were decent while this thing lasted. It is a big ass heat sink so it will take up a lot of room, but it does the job adequately. However my fan just broke and it makes this insanely annoying loud squeaky noise when running. It is in fact, such a pain to remove the fan or install the heat sink that I am most likely just gonna toss it. This lasted me for about 5 months. Beware.
Summary: I recently purchased this cooler. Was may 28, now June 13, 2013. The fan I just noticed is making a whining noise like others have commented about. Really not even a month and this piece of crap breaks. All I can say is don't buy this hunk of scrap metal. I'm pissed off!

Summary: It's all OK and I liked it until the fan stopped working. I got an error on boot telling me there was a CPU fan problem and sure enough, the fan was coming on and off sputtering along like it was trying to work but couldn't. Time from install to failure: 12 months. So you might say, "this thing doesn't cost too much...might not be too bad to replace it.".
