Summary: My AMD FX 8 core processor peaks at 24°C with this thing. The stock fan kept it as 50-60ºC with the same amount of use. If you need major cooling, this guy's the way to go! Just make sure it'll fit in your case.
Summary: I put one in about 2 years back in a PC. Was looking for something different. Did a lot of searching and things for a nice looking cpu cooler... space not a issue but really could not find one as nice looking or with the performance. I could have even gone with a passive copper unit but in the end this still looks like a beauty. Plus you can open it up and replace the led if you wish. Check You Tube.
Summary: My temps were decent while this thing lasted. It is a big ass heat sink so it will take up a lot of room, but it does the job adequately. However my fan just broke and it makes this insanely annoying loud squeaky noise when running. It is in fact, such a pain to remove the fan or install the heat sink that I am most likely just gonna toss it. This lasted me for about 5 months. Beware.
Summary: My PC now looks like a Drag car LOL. I honestly didnt expect to much, but i will say that this thing is almost completely quiet at normal speeds. I never hear it much either while playing crysis 3 on max settings . On my overclocking test, i heard her whine, but the cpu really was alot cooler. So this thing actually does work then.
Summary: This lowered my temps by A LOT. I don't have numbers on me right now, but at full load, I was seeing ~15 deg F reduction from stock i5 cooler. Keeps me at ease that CPU will last longer. No overclocking on my rig, just intense gaming at Ultra settings on a lot of different games.
Love it... but make sure it will fit in your case!

Summary: I absolutely love it. It is really big but my full tower has plenty of room. Temp specs: Before:(Intel I7 LGA1155 Stock fan) 108f Idle Before:(Intel I7 LGA1155 Stock fan) 178F MAX LOAD After: 97F Idle After: 140F MAX LOAD This thing weighs like a pound and is huge. But it gets the job done!
Summary: Excellent heat sink is large and has a very attractive design, is very quiet and keeps well refrigerated equipment, also supports intel and amd processors, includes thermal paste and all the tools needed for installation
