Summary: Unit failed in warranty period with a seized fan. Cooler Master has been dragging their feet for over a month and still hasn't sent out a replacement fan. RMA status says that the claim was approved, but they've never bothered to send out the fan. Follow-up emails keep getting ignored. Warranty support from this company is non-existent. AVOID.
Summary: this is a very good cooler i had ran this cooler for about a year now and keeps my cpu very cool andi had the V8 then i got this 1 very good on the price to and thiscooler allso is keeping my 2500k over clock to 4.8 and keep it at about 72c at full load at 100% on a 2 hour load it can run all day at 90% load and only get as high as 75c
Summary: this this works great, but it is huge. U should make sure u have lots of room around your processor and memory slots a good distance away. It covers the first memory slot on my ATX formfactor board. I have it on an Asus P8Z77-V LE Plus board runnin a i7-2700k, only got 2x4GB corsair Vengeance memory sticks, but if i had 4, it would be a no go.so if i ever need more than 8GB memory, i have to find some extremely low profile or new cooler...
Summary: I went from a stock cooler to this and the difference is incredible! I went from idling at 52 C to 35 C which helped it keep performing once I started taxing the system. the directions weren't even that hard to follow.
Summary: I had to revert to this fan from a CM 520. This fan cools!!! It is big and on the 990FX Sabertooth, I had to place the fans sideways as the fan covered the first ram slot. Fan still works great!
