Good Cooler : Very bad fans

Summary: I don't think I will buy another Cooler Master heatsink next time. I also had the V8 model, and it also had it's share of issues. I love the way they look, but they aren't very reliable.
Pros: Keeps i5-3570k running very cool at around 34 degrees. Looks great
Cons: After about 2 months both fans started rattling. Now after about a year and a half, they are so loud, that I have to change them out. They were driving me crazy. The right side fan cover does not fit properly. It only fits correctly if the fan is installed backwards, blowing air into the case ins...
Summary: If you are not quite ready to get into liquid cooling, this is a great CPU Cooler if you have a big enough case to handle it. I would recommend getting higher quality 120mm fans to replace the original, however. This can increase the cooling performance by a large margin as well.
Pros: This CPU Cooler allowed me to overclock my CPU by over 30% while keeping temperatures down to below 35C under standard usage, and 50C while stressing it. It has lasted for quite some time now, and the performance has not dissapointed with proper maintenance, and a couple of fan replacements that ...
Cons: The fans that shipped with this fan have needed replaced multiple times. This CPU Cooler is definitely not made for a small case, however, so keep that in mind when purchasing it. On top of being very large, the wires will need ran with a bit of room as well.
Summary: Not bad, but fans don't last and the thing is too big. If you have the option just go with water-cooling. Defentily don't get this if you have all your ram slots filled as just about all mainboards will be hard to fit this heatsink.
Pros: Looks awesome! 4 different color selections! Easy access to the fans if they go bad. Keeps CPU nicely cooled for air cooling. Comes with a 2 3 pin to 1 3 pin adapter to hookup both fans to one 3 pin input on the mainboard for boards that only have 1.
Cons: Had this heatsink/fan for about a year and the fans went out on it. They completely seized up. Easy to replace the fans though. Also this thing is HUGE. I will have to replace it eventually, if I want to get more ram as it takes up the first ram slot on my sniper 5 mainboard.
Pros: it works, nice lights, easy to install, looks like it keeps the processor nice and cool
Cons: Well one of the fans is loose on the ball bearings, so on start up it wacks the casing, but once the system is running it goes back to queit, sorry thats why it lost 2 eggs. too lazy to order a new fan, when the first shoulda worked. baaa
Summary: this PC was the 10th+ PC I have built and this CPU fan is the only one I have ever had issues with. to have the same exact failure in 2 different pieces tells me the design, constructions, or parts used are of poor quality and a waste of money.
Pros: fits the mobo as expected. worked well for a short period of time
Cons: i built my pc with this CPU cooling fan a little over 2 years ago. the first one of these I bought worked flawlessly for about 13 months and then the front fan started to not spin. i could get it going if i manually spun it a few times and it would work for awhile but then it would start slowing ...
Pros: Kept temperatures down significantly while under regular use, load, and extreme gaming, etc. Neat and compact nothing bulging or sticking out fairly decent in size (may be a con for some people) Not too heavy and mounting method seems solid and secure. Two fans and a nice little led lighting feat...
Cons: For those with little to no experience with installing their own hardware or good with their hands might find that this was difficult to install. I would say just take your time and everything should go smoothly. Here is where I took off two eggs just because I am not satisfied with the quality o...
Summary: If I had to do it all over I would still get this cooler. So it gets a solid 4 eggs.
Pros: * Cools great my i7-4770k only hits about 45c on load * Not really loud. It makes less noise then the coolers on my 2 GTX 680's * Fits every socket type under the sun.
Cons: Minus 1 Egg for this : HUGE PAIN IN THE REAR to install. I installed this on a ASUS Maximus Formula VI, the clearance to the memory slots was tiny it almost touched the heat spreader on my RAM. Getting the cross bar to bite on both sides when installed in a 1150 socket was almost impossible. Took...
Pros: Does a great job cooling my cpu. Temps around 25 when idling. The Led strip looks cool with my side window.
Cons: I didnt realize how large it was until i got it (I had to file down one of my side window rivets on the inside after i installed it) Its kinda loud and im not sure if its the fans or if its the fan controller on the motherboard.
