Summary: This is mainly as a warning if you aren't super up on fan knowledge, I learned the hard way: don't use these mounted horizontally. Sleeve bearing fans get super noisy mounted that way, and these are no exception, they're the noisiest thing in my rig, replacing asap. Not an "egg" issue per se, since I ordered them without knowing enough, but just a warning to only use them vertically.
Pros: Decent looking fans, excellent price, got em for less than $8 elsewhere.
Summary: I bought two of these to replace some cheap ones that were starting to die. The sound level with two of these fans running is really nice, I was impressed with the noise level. The LED lighting on this is not as bright as some others so don't expect a huge glow off of these. They are more subtle but still look nice.
Summary: I have a total of 5 of these. I replaced the 230mm on the side panel of my Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced with 4 to get more air moving through my case and it worked. My temps dropped 5 degrees which to me is a good thing. I used the 5th on my Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo because it only comes with 1. I also wanted a little more lighting in my case which was achieved. I just wish the the led's were a tiny bit brighter.
Summary: I have 5 of these in a gaming rig and moves air well. One fan is really quite but 5 makes a little bit of noise. However, quite fans make it possible to have 5 fans maxing out without it sounding like a jet taking off. I wish the wire leads were longer. Had to improvise to make the proper connections.
