rather happy with the purchase

Summary: Purchased this for my new diy system. Installation is no problem as every items you need is included. The installation sheet of paper is not very clear especially on where the connectors from the fans and pump should go on your motherboard. My motherboard is a Asus Vanguard B85 and takes me a little bit of time to plug in the connectors. I connect the fan to the cpu fan socket and the other to one of my fan connectors. Overall, rather happy with the purchase.
Summary: This product works well, however it suffers from poor instructions and an installation that would benefit from extra hands. It was difficult to install for one person, particularly in the matter of securing the cooler to the base plate to fasten the copper cooler head to the processor. This was barely doable for one person; a second person to hold the back plate in place would have been an enormous help.
Summary: I purchased this unit after a failure with the Zalman CNPS9900 LED. The Zalman, which was supposed to support the AM2 socket, failed when the screws weren't long enough for the install. Zalman also discontinued the clip/bracket it used to provide for the AM2 setups, and didn't even have any in back stock at their warehouse. I took the Zalman back and traded it for this unit, which was even cheaper because of the $30 mail in rebate.
Summary: I placed this on a FX 8120 which previously had a Cooler Master Hyper N520 heat sink. The idle temperatures dropped about 3° C and the gaming temperatures dropped as well. This product is very similar to the Corsair H80, however it does not offer a compressor controller. That is why I rated this product a four instead of a five.
Summary: I'm not big on lengthy reviews, so I'll try to be succinct. Overall, this bad boy is great. So buy it. I doubt you'll find a better deal for the money. I installed this on a rig that was built for 3D rendering (Poser/DAZ that sort of thing) that utilized an AMD 8 core CPU. During some simple test renders the motherboard utility would issue a warning about CPU temps. This was with the FaHS that shipped with the processor.
Summary: I bought this to replace the stock AMD fan for my Phenom II 945. Here are my observation after one week Pro: Keeps the system 10C cooler than the stock fan. Temperature ranges from 30C-35C With the fan turned off, it performs as well as the stock fan. Temperature ranges from 40C-45C Cheap Con: At full speed, the fan can be as noisy as the stock fan. Water hoses are a bit short, but this is a subjective point. Quick disconnects on the hoses would have been wonderful.
