Summary: This product lights up and moves air as in description but when i tried installing it into the case, the screws stripped, i got replacements and they didn't work, i got new fans just about a week ago they installed without any trouble, i took one of their screws out and tried it with this fan. It got stripped, even after i got it into the other fan without any trouble, that is why i will no longer buy fans from coolermaster.
Summary: I bought two of these fans to replace the a12025-20cb-4bp-c1 fans I had installed on my cooler master hyper 212+ since the older fans were noisy at 1500rpm around 75% and wanted something I could push more air with less noise. Boy am I disappointed I installed both of these R4-L2R-20AC-GP's the night I received them at my door, simple enough was replacing a four pin pwm fan for a three pin but knew I could still control the rpm via my motherboard or it's software.
Summary: I have 3 hard drives in my system and I use this fan to cool them and it looks great. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars is that one it did not come with the fan speed regulator (which I wanted) and 2 it is loud. I had a nice quiet system until I put this thing in. Now I can hear it running from my hallway. It also did not come with the grill that covers the fan. So you are basically just getting a fan (the connection to the motherboard is there).
Summary: I don't know how this fan got so many 5* reviews. I got two fans both are very louder. You can sit and work with this fan running. I pulled the plug after 2 days of use. The screw also doesn't fix perfectly, you'll realize it when screwing it and shreds of plastic falls down. Unfortunates my tower came very later so it took time for me to assemble the PC, otherwise I would have retuned it.
Summary: I've read the fan was bad in terms of installation, but I didn't think the fan's holes would be so small, the scews won't fit even with the most forceful person behind the scewdriver. Maybe it's easier with an automatic, but I'm not buying the 'Cooler Master Screwdriver.
Summary: these fans are extremely poor i would suggest anybody to buy elsewhere the screws that come with these fans seem too big and it sounds like the plastic is cracking when u screw them in and they are very difficult to screw in i stripped one of the screws cause i had to use a drill to get them screwed in and it shouldnt of took nothing but a simple screw driver but it didnt work out that way i even have a coolermaster case so this issue really shouldnt have happened i will...
Summary: I don't believe that this product should be 1 star (even though that's what I gave it), but I feel like my installation was aggravating enough that people should know about it before purchasing. The two fan's I got both had this issue, so I believe more people deal with this than just me. The four silver screws (it would be nice if they were black), don't fit the holes in the plastic for the fan. They also aren't threaded holes.
Summary: The fan was working fine until it died with less than two months of use. As others have said, the LEDs aren't very good and the screws are rather annoying but these things aren't a deal breaker. I might eventually test my luck with another one just because of the price.
