Summary: The Coolermaster X-Slim NotePal Cooler is lightweight and quiet. I am completely pleased with it. Not only does it keep my laptop cool I like the angle of the keyboard when I extend the two legs in the back of the Cooler.
Summary: The simplicity of the cooling fan's design makes this is a #1 laptop essential. No more heated laps for me. An additional USB port is provided to supplement the one used on the laptop. Great product and no need to buy any of the more pricey cooling fans.
Summary: Cools lap top off well. May be a little too bendable as it is quiet and effective when on a completely flat hard surface, BUT changes noise level when not 100% supported. It seems like the frame bends and slightly interferes with the fan when it is suspends on the corner of a couch or on ones lap. Designers made it light and thin but may have sacrificed a little on structure. (mechanical engineer) Nevertheless, I'd buy another!!
Summary: This product does exactly what it says. It is fairly quiet and keeps my system running cool. It has 2 positions for height, but I've found that the default, lower position works fine for my purposes. The pad itself stays cool to the touch all the time and keeps your computer extremely cool most of the time too. I bought this device because my computer kept overheating while trying to game. I haven't had a problem with my computer since.
Summary: The fan keeps my computer very cool. I am pleased with that aspect. The adjustable legs are annoying. I have had a leg collapse while I am typing. This has happened frequently. Apart from the legs, I am pleased with my purchase.
