Summary: I bought this for my 15.6" Lenovo laptop because it was heating up with moderate use (let alone gaming). It cools my system by around 10 degrees when I configure the fans around the GPU/CPU area.
Pros: 3 fans that you can position anywhere
Cons: My laptop slides down from the top rubber grips
Summary: I bought this laptop cooler for half its original price. This was an upgrade from my own personal made laptop cooler. To be honest the fan at high speed does blow some fair amount of air(not a lot but its better than nothing) and can be a bit loud. Temperature wise, I don't notice that much of a change, I would say between 1-5 C cooler than normal. Overall, it is quite sturdy but cooling wise it could be better for more maximum airflow.
Pros: -3 fans that can be relocated, -light weight, -non-slip rubber, -adjustable speed, -doesn't take up a usb spot
Cons: -cable may "seem" short depending on where it is, -the bottom rubber(with cooler master logo) does come off fairly easily, -low speed fan
Summary: Like with many families I'm sure, our communal (mainly mom's) laptop doesn't get moved much from it's normal spot. Especially since it's a 17" model which tends to be bulky to carry around. In addition, we have a LCD monitor slaved off it to as a 2nd display and I needed to raise the LT so the screens would line up better. This cooler met all of our requirements, and so I snapped it up when I saw it, bonus - it was on sale too.
Pros: Stylish aluminium USB powered 3-fan cooler large enough for 17" laptop; raises screen height to match secondary LCD monitor placed beside it.
