Summary: It's a great product for its price, solid and great for someone like me who just needed to elevate his laptop to match a secondary monitor setup.
Pros: Hosts adequate features for its pricing range, durable cabling, easy to adjust and highly resistant to shaking.
Cons: Only useful for input devices such as mouse, keyboard, graphics tablet or powering your phone. Did not work with any data transmission devices (usb HDD's, Thumbdrivers or smart phones (data transfer mode). Also, the fan slows down considerably when more than 2~ usb devices are plugged in. This isn't that much of a problem since I have the fan turned off because my laptop has the air intakes positioned at the very
Summary: If you are using your laptop like a desktop hooked up to a monitor (my Dell Studio 14") and your laptop heats up sitting on the desk (especially a wooden desk) - INVEST IN THIS UNIT ! Here's more details. I use my laptop like a desktop with a monitor and occasionally take it out with me. I have a few USB devices connected (Keyboard/Mouse, Graphics Tablet, USB Storage).
Pros: It works (Internal temp cooler by around 10C). Cable Management. Great price $30. Height Adjustments. Super Quiet. Manual Speed Control. Excellent Build. Fits most laptops. 4 USB Hub
Cons: Doesn't come with a power adapter or a USB Y Cable. Bulky and not really usable on lap. Controls and USB hub not exactly easy to reach. Lack of automated speed based on temperature.
Summary: I purchased this Notebook/netbook cooler for my Wife, she's got a 15.6" Sony Notebook that she wanted to prolong the life of by having it constantly cooled. This was recommended by various sources as one of the best Notebook/Netbook coolers around. Time was on my side as at the time of my initial purchase it was $25.99 with MIR of $10 to make it $15.99, I didn't even do the MIR as $25.99 was still a good deal.
Pros: Support for Notebook/Netbook computers of various size., Huge 140MM fan for cooling integral parts of Notebook/Netbook computers.
Cons: The rubber feet that hold the Notebook/Netbook computer in place are cheaply made, they slide and fall out way too easily., A locking mechanism of some sort would have sufficed for the rubber feet.
Summary: Pros: good design & features, very stable - even with large laptops (mine is 17.3inch), cools effectively (noticed right away that the internal fan in my laptop didn't have to run as often), Very quiet, USB hub is very handy Cons: slightly pricey, but reasonable.
Summary: I use this on a laptop that is used for everything from business to gaming. Previously, I'd have to reboot often and let the laptop cool down. This product keeps my laptop remarkably cool, regardless of how long I use it. I purchased this product over 3 months ago. If I had to criticize something, I'd say that for the price, I think they should include an AC adapter - and I wish the stoppers they have to keep the laptop from sliding off at high angles, were flush with...
