Buy something else!

John O., Newegg
3 March 2016
  • Pros: Bought the 120XL version of this cooler several months ago. It stopped working after 2 months. I returned the defective cooler as instructed by Cooler Master. That cost me $15 in shipping. They initially promised a replacement. A month or so later, said they could only refund. I set up a PayPal a...

Excellent water cooling block

Brian C., Newegg
7 January 2016
  • Summary: Be mindful of the piping when dismounting the two fans and the grill when you are cleaning the grill. The pipes will form solidly into whatever shape you installed them at, so keep them that way.
  • Pros: Installed it myself. Was a little difficult on an LGA1366 but after some tough love and only reapplying the thermal paste (arctic silver or else!) once, it locked into place well. Didn't need instruction manual. Make sure you have the fans in a push/pull to get cold temps (they should face the sa...
  • Cons: None whatsoever.

Tipton W., Newegg

  • Summary: This is such a solid purchase - the money to return is THERE I work in sales, this is a great product for an AM3+ Vishera 6300 atleast. I would recommend
  • Pros: This is a good cooler
  • Cons: nothing so far, I haven't touched it and it runs great 40-45 Celsius under load

Three failed in 2 years

Jeffrey C., Newegg
3 December 2015
  • Pros: The design was great for my specific desktop build.
  • Cons: I have owned two of these units since I received my custom-built $3500 desktop computer. Both have failed after I bumped the cooling cables when installing some RAM or a PCI card. The first one was DOA when they installer's company was building my system, so that makes 3 strikes and Cooler Maser ...

Update after over a months use

Scott M., Newegg
16 November 2015
  • Summary: Apparently the screw holes stripping is a common problem not just with this cooler but with many of them. And if you don't get the screws tight enough they fans can vibrate the screws loose so you are kinda stuck in that regard.
  • Pros: Provides 240mm cooling in a 120 form factor (has 120 mounts) Not too expensive Keeps the core temps of an overclocked FX8350 @5.0ghz in the low 60C range in Intel Burn Test. In P95/OCCT it barely breaks 50C.
  • Cons: The aluminum threads where the screws attach to the radiator pulled out in 3 locations after a month when I went to install new fans.

Really really good cooler

Scott M., Newegg
4 October 2015
  • Summary: This is a really really really nice cooler. Has 120mm and 140mm mounts on the rad for those who want to run 120mm for whatever reason and with said 120mm fans this cooler will mount in a 120mm fan space as long as there is physically room for the radiator itself.
  • Pros: -240mm performance in a 120 or 140mm slot -Ridiculously good fans -Good thick coolant tubes with good length -$69 after rebate -Way more versatility in mounting than a 240mm unit
  • Cons: Not free? Newbies might not catch the fact that you can't daisy chain the fans on a single motherboard header due to power requirements even tho the instructions show this. Fan cables could be a touch longer as well. Had to use the included splitter as an extension cord for the front mounted fan ...

Spectacular cooler

Scott M., Newegg
2 October 2015
  • Summary: I have a Challenger S case so while putting a 240mm up top was feasible it meant that the radiator would be right in front of the RAM right near the CPU and motherboard. Did not want all that heat in that spot so looked for an option that would give me the same cooling ability and maybe be able to...
  • Pros: -Same cooling capability as a 240mm but way more compact for smaller cases -Jetflo fans flow a TON of air but are quiet at low speed via PWM. -Has 120mm fan mounts on the radiator as well as 140 -Nicely sleeved wires, cool little LED on the pump -Pump is very quiet -Installation is a breeze and i...
  • Cons: Nowhere in the instructions is it made explicit that each fan needs its own dedicated fan header due to the fans having a very high draw. Not enough to lose an egg since the fan and pump ratings are right one the box but it might confuse novices. I would only use the splitter via a fan controller...
