Summary: I was lucky i bought a midsize board and midsize case. I cannot fathom even trying to stuff this in anything smaller than my case. Installation was a great deal more complicated, but still relatively easy.
Pros: Silent, cool and effective, comes with everything you need to attach this beefcake to your processor/motherboard, comes with thermal paste.
Cons: Monstrously huge, considerably more complicated than the OEM heatsink, overcrowds the PC case and makes installing other components more difficult, if not impossible in some circumstances.
Pros: Easy to install. Keeps my CPU running at great temps.
Cons: a bit large and the fan on it wont be read by my MOBO. Tried other fans and they work fine. So atm I have another fan sitting on top that is plugged into primary while the connected fan is in the AUX fan control. Want to get this fixed but im not taking my MOBO out to take it off.
Summary: Great cooler, great price, if a bit bulky. If you run anything higher than the 8350 or are into extreme overclocking, this is not for you.
Pros: This thing manages to cool my FX-8350 processor over clocked to 4.3GHz, but I run two Corsair High Static Pressure fans on it. Its also pretty inexpensive even with those, as the fans only run for around 30 bucks.
Cons: Its huge. If your space is limited, consider other cooling solutions.
Setup was pretty confusing. I got it in the end but the instructions were messed up, mainly because of the illustrations.
