Summary: I have installed four of these units and love them. Although they are a little extra work mounting the hardware to the mainboard, they run very quiet and keep my processors cool. I have used them on AMD AM3 Sockets as well as Intel 1155 and 1150.
Summary: I have this totally new build and my first time buying an aftermarket CPU cooler. The thing I like best about the Cooler Master GeminII S524 is the pipes touch the CPU. I noticed the others don't do this. There may be some that do but I didn't see them. The fan is whisper quite. The cooling fins touch my two sticks of Crucial Ballistix Elite 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3 1866 MT/s (PC3-14900) which I like a lot.
Summary: This thing is HUGE, but it fits just fine in my Cooler Master 430. My only complaint is that, in my particular case, it is too large to allow a 120mm fan to be attached to the top vents, but that is not the fault of the cooler. I have read reviews about the back plate touching the case, but there is an insulating film on the plate that keeps them electrically separated, so it is not a problem.
Summary: Pictures and videos don't do this thing justice. It's massive, and even better it came with thermal compound. The only trouble with it is the installation.. it's a little bit awkward but it works and it stays on with no issue. I'm glad I went with this cooler instead of the other options i was considering as they would have rendered 1 or two of my RAM slots unusable. This thing towers right over them and barely makes contact with my Kingston Vengeance RAM.
