Pros: Dropped my CPU Temp from 24 C idle down to 17 C. Was using Stock thermal stuff that came with aftermarket heatsink. And I normally use arctic Silver 5 but this stuff is better. It's a cheap upgrade. Even if you just want to prevent Thermal throttleing. But if you're a overclocker then this stuff ...
Summary: I am still blown away by how much better the temps are compared to the stock paste. In my previous review I stated that the LED on my Corsair H110i never changed. I found that I had the settings wrong and it does change some, for a few seconds, then it goes back to blue.
Pros: Excellent temps relatively inexpensive - considering the equipment it is protecting easy to use Non Conductive - it won't fry your system if you use too much
Summary: I have never had to re-install a heatsink until recently. The numbers speak for themselves. I will never use the pre-applied stuff again. HARDWARE: ASUS M5A990FXA R2.O AMD FX-8350 @ 4.2 GHz CORSAIR H110i 280mm TEMPS IN CELSIUS: Stock paste- idle 28-30 medium load 35-40 heavy load 40-45 MX-4 idle...
Pros: IT WORKS GREAT not too pricey easy to use non-conductive - if a little squeezes out it is not gonna fry the hardware
Summary: I bought this thinking it would improve my CPU temperature but all it has done is increase it. I have tried re-applying this stuff three different times using three different methods. First I tried the pea method.
Pros: It cools the CPU to some degree
Cons: CPU temperatures are higher with this garbage than with the stock thermal compound that came with my CPU cooler
