Good for typical vertical mounting, not as good for horizontal mounting.

Summary: I have 3 of these fans currently and have one more on the way. They are fantastic, move a good share of air and are quiet silent as well. Only main problem as to why I gave it 4 stars was that horizontal installation proves to be moderately noisy due to extra vibrations from the motor hitting the 120mm casing. I wrote an email to arctic and was never contacted back, so I'll also include that into my reason as to why I took off a star.
Summary: Great fan, solid and quiet. I am not a big fan of this wire harness though. I have many, it does not stop me from buying them, but prefer the simple 4-wire pwn connection. If you are lacking in MB fan headers, this will come in handy; if not lacking, then it will cost you an extra zip tie to secure the extra wire.... Have bought before, will buy again.
Summary: These fans will move a lot of air quietly. They mount easy and seem well built especially considering the price. They wont have a high static pressure but will move a large volume of air. This makes them perfect for case fans. I bought a four pack and installed them in a Coolermaster HAF 912 case. The air they move is considerable compared to the case fans the Coolermaster came with. Unlike most fans they are electrically stackable.
Summary: When connecting to my Sabertooth z77 motherboard I could not get the chassis fan 4 pin connections to display the rpm for this fan. Any chassis fan connection I plugged this in (there are 4 on this motherboard) just displayed as N/A for rpm. I could mess around with the speed in the ASUS Thermal Radar program and see/hear the fan spin up or slow down but I could not get the RPM.
Pros: Unique style and high quality fan, construction feels and looks very solid
Summary: Only shortcoming I see is the wiring harness. Very light gauge wires even for this kind of component. Also, I prefer sleeved wired versus loose. The 3 to 4 pin conversion plug is not very well installed. There are better designs. Couldn't really tell by the description how it was built.
Summary: Perfect case fans for plugging into my motherboad's 4pin connectors to individually control the fan speeds. They're nice and quiet, but they don't move as much air as I had expected. Overall, great fan though. Would buy again.
Summary: Have had one fan that "sags" when mounted vertically, causing the blades to strike the housing. Not sure why only one is doing it (have more than 6 deployed in various machines), but it does mean I have to open the case and "jiggle" it a little to get it to quiet back down.
Pros: These are quiet fans. The engineering is interesting.
Cons: These are exhaust only. As someone else mentioned, who doesn't design a fan to work either way? Should have read reviews more thoroughly before ordering.
