Better than stock, but a mediocre overclocking cooler

Summary: I bought this because I couldn't fit the coolermaster hyper 212 in my case (same price). I was hoping to do some overclocking but this cooler isn't particularly effective. If you're looking for a light overclock (maybe 300 mhz more) it's a decent cooler, but otherwise I ended up going liquid with...
Pros: + Small profile, fits a mid tower case
+ Useable on AMD and Intel chipsets
+ Braided cable guard to prevent abrasion of fan wire.
+ Fits stock brackets, does not require removal of motherboard to install.
+ Quieter and much better than stock CPU coolers.
Cons: - Poor heat dissipation for an air cooler (even after putting new compound and reseating.)
- Quite "fat", may not clear RAM slots.
- Maintains about 20 degrees over ambient on load (not good for hot CPUs like AMD)
- Seating options on AMD would be best suited to a case with top ventilation fans.
