HA!

Keng V., Newegg
31 March 2015
  • Summary: looking through the photos and package, the fans look quite nice for something cheap. Sadly the thing is so flimsy. Installed it onto an old pc and the fans were grinding against the case and the filter for the side panel. It was loud and not the pleasant kind of loud.
  • Pros: Glossy 3 pin power connector
  • Cons: super flimsy little airflow

pawel k., Newegg

  • Summary: - Total disappointment form Apevia. I have never seen a fan that was lower in quality. Its shocking how this product made it out of Quality Control.
  • Pros: - Arrived quickly
  • Cons: - Fan blades and body really low quality plastic. - Received with cracked body and blades. - Plastic really flimsy. - Item is totally unusable and broken right out of the box. - Not even worth shipping back.

Of Poor Quality

SHANE R., Newegg
4 August 2014
  • Summary: I bought 4 of these fans for a new build. I bought them mostly for their low price. One month later, after intermittent use (a few hours per week in a fairly clean environment), 2 are no longer working.
  • Pros: Very inexpensive. Comes with mounting hardware and molex adapter.
  • Cons: Fan and motor assembly are not well attached to the housing. Does not move as much air as other 80mm fans Newegg will charge 8$ in shipping to return a defective one.

Moves air!

Peter S., Newegg
16 July 2014
  • Summary: It might be helpful to others if the fan detailed the direction of the air flow. I happened to know from experience. The glossy finish may help keep dust off fan. To prolong the life of your fans remember to vacuum out your PC every few months. Take special care to not touch components.
  • Pros: Cheap, and has 3 pin connector that allows for motherboard connection
  • Cons: none

waste of money

colleen M., Newegg
3 July 2014
  • Summary: cheap, fell apart right away had to RMA, Got a replacement and same thing. Fell apart in the first 1 hour of using. Now the other one in my case is starting to act up. I removed the sticker ( it actually fell off) only to find the fan is cracked where it attaches to the motor.
  • Pros: pretty blue, cheap. was quiet while they worked.
  • Cons: quiet while they lasted.

Unreliable, noisy, flimsy construction

DAVID W., Newegg
17 June 2014
  • Summary: I ordered three of these for my HTPC (Silverstone case with room for 4 80mm fans). They all began working quite well; but overnight one started buzzing. So, I requested an RMA; but then decided to just go ahead and order two more.
  • Pros: Inexpensive. I guess you get what you pay for. Out of the five fans I ordered, I got zero worthwhile products. See the below; but I don't really have anything else positive to say.
  • Cons: These fans are very poorly constructed out of even poorer materials. The ones I ordered either stopped working, started making noises, or just plain sucked at their one job. More detail is below.

Ehh

Skyler A., Newegg
3 April 2014
  • Summary: I have 2 120mm fans one as a front intake one as a top exhaust then 2 of these things as side intakes to help cpu temp and another 80mm fan blowing air onto my HDD and the only fan I can really hear is my CPU fan on the OEM AMD cooler if these things moved more air I would put them on the heatsink...
  • Pros: looks like I put my review on the wrong fan so ill put it on the right one this time :) I purchased 2 of these and installed them today they are super quiet can't even hear them and they are blue
  • Cons: they move very little air even with two of them right next to each other I can barely feel any air movement
