Summary: This will be the second ANTEC fan installed in the past 3 years. Although it only lasted a relatively short time... I purchased a second one because for the accessibility from Staples and the ease of installation. Lets hope it lasts a little longer.
Summary: Great for the price, dead silent on low (600) while moving enough air for a case fan but on high (800rpm) it's louder than my noctua p12 at 1000 rpm. Recently i bought a new case and when i removed the fans the rubber grommets that it came with was severely degraded and left a rubber dust coating on...
Summary: Be careful using this connected to a motherboard. Ensure the motherboard fan speed is set to full speed or fan may not start spinning, even at fastest speed setting. Also, packaging was very poor. The shipping box was badly beat up in transit.
Pros: Very, *very* quiet, even at it;s fastest speed.
Cons: Barely moves any air, even at it's fastest speed. Especially if mounted behind a simple metal-with-holes-drilled-in-it grill. Must be mounted behind thin-gauge wire grill or no grill to work well. Also, of the three I ordered, one had yellow corners and two had black corners. Packaging was all th...
Summary: I expected better from the Antec name to be honest. I had a few noisy fans so I bought 2 of the Standard version to replace them. When I put the first one in it was louder on high than the fan it replaced. (NZXT 120mm) Also on the high setting it had what can best be described as a chatter.
Summary: I moved this to my side intake because I didn't want lots of flow there above the CPU (lots of flow interferes with my CPU cooler somehow). Now the nice green color is on the side.
Pros: -Great color, not too bright -Has rubber mounts and rubber screws/straps for low vibrations
Cons: -Low airflow -Not ideal as an intake. When I mounted it as my front intake, just having the case's grill on the pulling side reduced the airflow to almost nothing -Too loud for how much air it pushes. Sure it has low vibrations because of the rubber mounts, but the noise the motor+fan blades make...
Summary: Well, these fans are true to their name; quiet as can be. There are two speed settings, (low and high) and they are both nearly silent. When turned up to high, all you can hear is the slightest sound of air moving.
Summary: Most of the reviewers are right this is a nice quiet fan, but it just doesn't move enough air for me. I ordered the AeroCool Shark EN55413 at the same time and the AreoCool moves twice as much air with approx. the same sound level.
