Summary: Defective wiring: The fan came with a 6-inch extension offering two power connections, 3-pin and 4-pin. I used the 3-pin connector on the extension and the fan got no power. (I tested the power source with my rear case fan and the power source was good.
Summary: Try something else if you don't want to hear your case fan .
Pros: It did work and install easy and it doesnt have any ggaay lights on it. It appears to be well constructed.
Cons: NOISY. I don't care what the other reviews say if you run this fan on anything but low you ARE GONNA HEAR IT. It isnt all that quiet on low either but not loud enough for me to switch it out. The sound it does make is obnoxious not just the normal air moving sound but a whine.
Summary: Like the other reviewers say, this is a quiet fan even on high... until it isn't. Mine started to make quite a bit more noise on startup, presumably the early warning signs of bearing failure, and the fan is only a couple of months old.
Summary: This fan did not cool as much as expected even on the highest speed setting. It seemed to push out a lot of air but compared to the one that it was replacing, it was not equivalent. In addition, I used standard case fan hardware (attachment screws - not included) which went in extremely hard.
Summary: Also the switch to adjust the settings have no defined high, medium, and low I had to figure out which was which by trial and error.
Pros: Good fans, run quietly.
Cons: Just bought it, it runs well and quiet however it was very frustrating to find that the holes that the screws are supposed to fit through are unthreaded, I had to force them through, luckily only 2 are required, as I stripped 2 trying to screw it to my case.
Summary: It was my first Antec fan, but compared to other non-name-brands with LED I had I was not impressed. In fact the stock fan that came with this PC, while it did not move as much air as this one was at least less noisier so I could have lived with that. Bottom line: you get what you pay for.
Pros: Moves a decent amount of air, reliable.
Cons: It was pretty noisy, I mean upon finally upgrading from the stock 92mm fan, I was expecting this fan to blow me away. I could be wrong, but it might be just me that I got what seems a pretty lousy product that I am able to hear the fan going, even at low speeds, I just use medium now, to have som...
