Good value, not very quiet.

Michael T., Newegg
7 December 2015
  • Summary: Decent bang/buck value.
  • Pros: - Low price - Easy to install - 3-speed switch which lets you switch between 1,200 RPM, 1,600 RPM and 2,000 RPM. - PWM if your motherboard supports it.
  • Cons: -Slightly loud on medium (1,600 RPM) setting. Louder than my 5 year old, dust-clogged fan which came in my prebuilt PC.

Useless

Anonymous, Newegg
28 November 2015
  • Summary: Would love to try other 80mm fans.
  • Pros: LED lighting?
  • Cons: Had to thread the screw hole myself, which is painful and hurt my finger. Hardly push any air in or out even on high setting

This is Antec quality?

JOHN L., Newegg
7 September 2015
  • Summary: took 4 eggs off for each screw hole. Get a Top motor/Rexus fan here. Couldn't even use my Akustic rubber insulator with these "white" fans. I was able to use it with the original Antec fan from 2008 though. A fan? Get real!
  • Pros: None.
  • Cons: This 120mm 3-speed fan was to replace an Antec fan in my Antec Solo case bought in 2008 here at Newegg. That's 7 years of service, the original black plastic Tri-cool lasted. Not bad huh? Well, I got more of these "new" white plastic looking fans to replace the sometimes old noisy 2008 one. It di...

Great fans

Harvey R., Newegg
2 August 2015
  • Pros: Good price to start with, plus a 3 speed fan switch, mounting screws and 3/4 pin power connector. Using it as a exhaust fan in my micro atx case and moves a lot of air on high setting.
  • Cons: None so far.

It's a fan

Sean G., Newegg
17 July 2015
  • Summary: Received product less than 20 hours after ordering it with free shipping. A+ Newegg.
  • Pros: It moves air. It moves it quietly. Good price for something with Molex and 3/4 pin connectivity and speed controller. No blinding LEDs.
  • Cons: As others have mentioned, the self-threading screws are a bit of a pain to install. Be sure to thread them outside of the case before installing, or you're gonna have a bad time.

A good fan, if a little bothersome.

Julian S., Newegg
22 May 2015
  • Summary: All in all, they're good fans, but you have to thread the holes yourself, and then if you aren't detail oriented might put them in backwards as well. Once you do get them installed correctly though, good fans.
  • Pros: They work. Adjustable speed. Bright LEDs.
  • Cons: Had to thread the screw holes myself. No direction arrows.

Updated Specifications

ANTHONY M., Newegg
3 May 2015
  • Summary: The specifications need to be updated to reflect a 2000 rpm fan. I am glad I purchased these fans. Again, I am really surprised at how quiet these fans are at full RPM. This fan is a real gem.
  • Pros: According to many reviews here, these fans are very dependable, and give long reliable life. I am surprised at how quiet they are, for as much air as they move. These are now rated at 2000 rpm, and I did validate that from my MOBO reading. The Blue LEDs give off a nice medium blue light. I purcha...
  • Cons: There are only 3 LEDs, so that might make a difference. The cable is not sleeved, and only a 1 year warranty, (which hopefully is not needed). Not much to complain about here.

Antec 120mm DBB 3-Speed Fan - Highly Recommended

Jason V., Newegg
15 March 2015
  • Pros: At the highest speed of 2,000 rpm, the fan is still fairly quiet. The build quality is solid. The fans are reliable and keep the system running cool.
  • Cons: The wires can be very confusing, and there is no manual that comes with the product. Fortunately, there is a manual online which is a little helpful, but pictures showing a diagram would be ideal.
