New use for this fan

Sasquatch, Radioshack
25 May 2014
  • Excerpt: As a truck driver that carries a thermo electric cooler, I had trouble with the sleeved bearing fans burning out in about a month of continuous use. It fit perfectly on the cooler, is quieter than the original fan and much more efficient now at cooling. With the double ball bearings I am hoping that it lasts longer than a month like the factory fans!
  • Pros: Easy To Install, Quiet, Reliable

  • Summary: Cheap reliable 120mm fan. Average acoustics for a 120mm fan, definitely not as quiet as a low RPM Noctua. Ball bearings feel smooth. Recommended.
  • Pros: * Cheap, * High Quality, * Ball bearings
  • Cons: * A bit loud

dependable rear exhaust fan

N/A, Mwave.com
16 August 2010
  • Summary: dependable - long life double ball bearing. will most likely be used for a rear exhaust fan, so its nice to have the peace of mind of having a good fan back there versatile - comes with adapter to plug into 4-pin molex connector or 3-pin motherboard header
  • Pros: double ball bearing, so you can run it at higher RPMs with less noise and longer life than a sleeve bearing
  • Cons: a little on the expensive side for a fan, but you truly get what you pay for

Excellent product

  • Excerpt: This fan replaced the 2-wire fan in my portable 12V Peltier food cooler/warmer. The original fan was junk and froze solid within a year. The Antec fan has variable speeds, which is a nice addition, and it's very efficient. It's a bit louder on high speed than the old fan, but at nearly twice the CFM it's worth it.

Easy install, Slightly noisier than OEM

Brooklyn Joe, B&H Photo
4 May 2008
  • Excerpt: I bought this Antec fan to replace a failing fan in a 3 year-old HP PC. It was easy to install, and it comes with screws and a power source adaptor, which would allow it to be installed in a variety of PCs, with varying motherboard connectors. I've had it in for about a month, and I haven't had any issue. It is more powerful than the original equipment, and is therefore slightly noisier.
  • Pros: Consistent Performance, Inexpensive, Powerful
  • Cons: Slightly noisy

Not perfect but nice

Duc, super biiz

  • Summary: Nice built fan definitely worth the money. Doesn't push a lot of air and isn't the most quiet fan out there for the money. Still a good fan though.
