Summary: Quiet reliable fan, very easy to install for the most part. Only issue, which may have been my own fault, was the overall size of the fan. It was smaller than I thought (there should have been more size diagrams). I had to jury rig it slightly using the screws provided.
Summary: Fans are essential to electronics. This one is still spinning years later. Aunt Doris complains that this one is a little loud, but she complains about a lot of things. A larger fan would move more air with less noise, but some smaller cases will only take a small fan like this.
Summary: These fans are VERY loud, i have 2 other LED 80mm fans that cost about £1.30 each or something and they are quieter than these Antec ones. In fact i have two 50p (yes 50 PENCE) black generic 80mm fans that i got the Antec ones to replace and even they are quieter than these things.
Summary: I needed a cooling fan for my AGP card. This fan fitted nicely next to my AGP card and delivers the air needed to keep my case cool. I highly recommend this product. You won't go wrong at this price.
Summary: this is a really great fan if you have a rheostat of some kind, because on a low setting it pushes with a good volume/sound ratio. But otherwise, it's still a good fan, just a bit noisy if you have 3 of them in a case.
Summary: I PURCHASED THIS ANTEC 80MM TO REPLACE A SIMILAR SIZE GENERIC FAN IN A MICRO ATX CASE THAT FAILED. UPON OPENING AND EXAMANING THIS FAN I COULD NOT SEE ANY REAL PHYSICAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE NEW AND GENERIC FAN I WAS ABOUT TO REPLACE. HOWEVER AS I POWERED ON THE SYSTEM THE AIRFLOW AND THE QUIETNESS OF THIS FAN BECAME APPARENT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FAN TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS A 80MM REPLACEMENT!!
Pros: EASY INSTALLATION,VERY QUIET AND VERY AFFORDABLE
