  • Pros: Move a lot of air, fast. Have cool LEDs because I am 5 years old and pretty lights amuse me.
  • Cons: I really like Antec stuff, but these fans sound like a card stuck in some bike spokes. Probably solvable with WD40, but I can't be bothered. These are like 8 bucks so I threw them out and got some new ones from Best Buy.

  • Summary: this 920 has been discontinued...replaced it with a Zman 9900max....which cools my i5 2500k, on an evga E679-P67 mobo about 5-10 degs cooler
  • Pros: worked ok...when it worked...software for controlling this hs was very buggy...went through 3 rmas,,,,everyone tried (NE and Antec)

So so

Darrin S., Newegg
7 October 2013
  • Pros: Easy to install if you take a bit of time and patience, it is very quiet.
  • Cons: Doesn't cool the AMD FX-8120 Zambezi 3.1GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core Very well at all. At room temperature it will over heat without over clocking even. I resorted to restricting my CPU to 85% power with windows power management, and it died after 14 months of use. I like Antec power supplys b...

  • Summary: RMAing again
  • Pros: Quiet and decent cooling when it works.... See below
  • Cons: I bought this cooler last year and it was working fine, then all of a sudden pump died so I RMAed it. Ever since then after 3 RMAs I can not get a product that functions correctly. You see asetek makes these coolers for Antec. I seem to now have v4 of the 620. And the one thing I notice which pro...

Better with Modifications

Todd R., Newegg
27 July 2013
  • Summary: I upgraded my original assessment from 1 egg to 2 - I'm still not impressed that I had to spend a lot of time and effort as well as another $65 to get this unit to operate properly. It's actually rather sad, the radiator and pump both work incredibly well - the major components are outstanding.
  • Pros: I originally gave this product 1 egg - and honestly out of the box that is all it deserved. However with a few minor modifications it does turn out to be a decent cooler. The thick radiator does an excellent job of cooling the processor. The first problem out of the box however is that the screws...
  • Cons: The control software is complete garbage - if you want a software controlled liquid cooler, buy something else. The software absolutely does not work on this, can't find the cooler at all. I've tried everything I could find in every forum and message base on the subject. I had the software instal...

Not too impressed.

andrew k., Newegg
24 May 2013
  • Summary: I'm thinking of doing a return to the store I bought this from.
  • Pros: Looks cool Good build quality Operates
  • Cons: Using Phenom II 955BE OC to 3.74@1.375v running any Prime95 test sends the temperature to dangerous 70C+ temps. This cooler appears to do virtually nothing for it. It's 42F outside right now and I have the window open, but that ain't helpin. I did a reapplication with AS-5, and it's still peaking...

Not for FX

John C., Newegg
28 April 2013
  • Summary: Corsair looks nice. I wonder if they do a better job on the copper plates.
  • Pros: The one I got was quiet and seemed to run correctly.
  • Cons: The installation had to be custom as the included mounting hardware would simply not fit my AMD 3+ socket MB. The copper mating surface was not flat or polished. For the cost of the 920 and the difficulty of install, a 5-8C cooler reading over air cooled is just not good enough. I hate the black ...

  • Cons: No longer keeps my cpu off the redline when playing older games like COD4 will not keep the CPU cool at all looking into finding a better water cooling system.

User Review

Michael P., Newegg
29 November 2012
  • Pros: Looks nice. Easy to install.
  • Cons: I did not buy this from Newegg. I'm on here looking for a replacement for one I bought elsewhere and am returning. I have an FX 8150 that ran at 39C at idle, 61 or so at load with the stock cooler. I wanted something quieter though so thought I'd try a 620. My idle temps went to 50C and load temp...
