Summary: I've owned the Antec Nine Hundred for 5 years, and my third one of these just died. Pro: good airflow. Con: seems to die pretty quickly, obviously given past experience. Also it's not a standard square shape, meaning you can't replace with any 200mm fan. I'd much rather have 2 120mm fan ports, but that's not this fan's fault. For comparison, every other stock 120mm fan in the Nine Hundred still works just fine, after running 24/7 for 5 years.
Summary: i'll be returning this and try to find some other brand of fan. i ordered this to replace an original 200 mm fan in my ANTEC case which was just starting to make noise. but the original fan was much more quiet than the new one.
Pros: moves alot of air
Cons: on low speed, quiet on med speed, begins to rattle on high speed, rattles ALOT!
Summary: I have gone through a few of these on my husband's PC. He has an Antec case with this at the top and it does a great job, but the plastic is so brittle it breaks fins off if anything comes in contact. The last one we got broke when I was grabbing a pair of headphones to take to work, and the male jack slipped into the grate for a brief second. I understand that's my fault but accidents happen but none of the 120mm fans that have had that little bit of shock have broken.
Summary: This fan is absolutely useless for a HAF912. It is a nice fan, but a waste of money for me. You can try to attach it on the top exhaust, but it does not fit between the motherboard and exhaust.
Pros: It runs silently and moves quite a lot of air. The switch that allows speed control is a nice addition.
Cons: The fan does NOT fit in a HAF912. The screw holes do not line up. Even if you improvise the mounting, a.g. use cable ties, the fan is too wide the front cover to reattach. The fan I bought did not come with screws, not sure if that is standard.
