Summary: I am glad I picked this fan up, and it does it's job, but I must say with my Antec case this top fan was the most frustrating thing in the world to install. Installation took about 45 minutes. This just should not be.
Summary: Works great. Thanks. Would have been introuble if I didn't find this fan. All my local computer stores don't have a 200mm fan. This is a great fan for the case. Might order one more as a backup in case I break a blade or something...
Summary: My installation is a departure from most applications. I wanted to convert a glass china cabinet into a multiple use AV equipment and display case. Since it wouldn't have served my purpose to leave the cabinet door open, I resorted to modifying it to provide adequate ventilation so as to avoid overheating of my sensitive electronic equipment, which throws off a good deal of heat.
Summary: These fans do not last very long at all for some reason. I bought 3 of them to last me through the year. I'm thinking it's a design flaw. You will start to hear a chattering sound coming from them after only a few months of use...... But with my case this is the only fan I can use in it.
Summary: I've owned the Antec Nine Hundred for 5 years, and my third one of these just died. Pro: good airflow. Con: seems to die pretty quickly, obviously given past experience. Also it's not a standard square shape, meaning you can't replace with any 200mm fan. I'd much rather have 2 120mm fan ports, but that's not this fan's fault. For comparison, every other stock 120mm fan in the Nine Hundred still works just fine, after running 24/7 for 5 years.
