  • Pros: Looked cool for a little bit.
  • Cons: Unit died on me after a few months. Does not do anything. Doubt they will do anything because I built my computer in stages over a year.

  • Pros: Looks Cool
  • Cons: The touch controls on this thing are dismal to say the least. It should have it's own usb interface so you can control it via a desktop app.

  • Pros: Works great
  • Cons: If you plan on switching power supplies BE CAREFUL, power prongs are worthless and pull out leaving this fan controller broken and useless

Still working after 3 years

Eyal B., Newegg

  • Summary: I install it in my computer in 2010 and it never failed since. Very useful tool to set minimum fans speed according to room temperature (winter/summer).
  • Pros: Easy installation, easy setup, can control up to 4 fans - works like a charm in my Cooler Master HAF 932. Fahrenheit & Celsius switchable, alarm is triggering full fan speed to avoid overheat.
  • Cons: None so far.

Kevin L., Newegg

  • Summary: This purchase cost me $70.99 and I probably got a few months of functionality out of it. I would not purchase this product again nor would I recommend this to a friend.
  • Pros: Hooked it up and installed everything fairly easily and It looked and worked great... for a while...
  • Cons: It completely stopped working at one point and I have not been able to get it working sense.

  • Summary: Do not buy this, buy the 30 dollar NZXT fan controller that can control 5 fans and doesnt have a gimicky touch screen.
  • Pros: The only pro to this would be if it would stop beeping.
  • Cons: Constantly beeps for no reason (Ive monitored temps myself, there's nothing unusually high Cant push fans at full speed Cables are like the bearded woman Beeps, a ton Will not stop beeping Wish it had been DOA

Don't bother

Anonymous, Newegg
24 April 2013
  • Summary: This thing came preloaded in a pc I bought. I think they put it in there to fill up space. Save your money..it just wastes PC power.
  • Pros: Fills the blank space on your PC.
  • Cons: I always suspected the temps were off as my GPU reading would never go above 42c. I downloaded some manufacturer SW and found it to be running at 80c. I cannot change the fan speed more than 300rpms 500 to 800. Really don't understand the point of this thing. I emailed Aercool and never got a response, their user manual is a complete joke.

Do Not Purchase

Polikarp K., Newegg
5 March 2013
  • Pros: None
  • Cons: I have never purchased any electronic where I had to test it before installing. So giving that fact and even reading the fact that some people were having issues I decided to purchase this item. I went ahead and installed it and attached all of the components. Turned on my computer and....nothing. The lights didn't flicker. After the computer went through its BIOS and everything still nothing. I started looking online for a possible solution when the lights flickered ...

User Review

Justin A., Newegg
26 February 2013
  • Summary: Upon arrival and installation, everything worked as noted. I mounted temp 1 to the side of my proc heatsink, temp 2 to the northbridge, temp 3 to southbridge and temp 4 was ambient. Within 3 days my ambient temp sensor and southbridge sensor both stopped reading and were locked to 45C. After the pain of making the cabling look nice, now I have to open it up again to replace temp sensors.
  • Pros: Easy mounting Looks Great and adds a cool factor to your case
  • Cons: Temp sensors die really fast Cable management is impossible (nature of the beast) Only has connectors to 4 pin mobo fan headers. Cant connect molex fans to this.
