Summary: We just bought a new house that had this oven installed. It is extremely loud while baking because it has a fan that continuously runs. It also continues to run for at least 25 minutes after you are done baking. I'm actually dreading my wife cooking a turkey all day long because the noise is so bad.
Nice oven so far but pretty loud when fan is running.

Summary: I recently purchased this wall oven to replace one we had when the house was built. I have to say it takes longer to cook most items than the last one we had, and it is pretty noisy when the fan is running. I saw comments from previous buyers about the noise being annoying but bought it anyway and it is pretty loud. Have not used the self-cleaning feature yet.
Excerpt: Though it is an attractive oven and would blend with either stainless steel and white appliances, it was a surprise that it is so noisy. The cooling fan which runs all the time makes an annoying whistling sound. If you choose convention baking, the fan that runs during that cycle makes a loud humming noise. Both together makes it unpleasant to use and I find I am avoiding baking so that I don't have to listen to it. Bought this oven based on a Consumers Reports review.
Pros: Attractive Design, Cooks Very Evenly, Easy To Clean, Large Surface Area, Made In The Usa
Summary: I've had this electric oven about 6 months, and overall I'm very happy with it. It replaced a 15-year old GE. I like the enclosed bottom element, the steam clean feature and the convection. Very roomy. Yes, the fan is a bit loud, so I'll try the suggestion of another reviewer and crack the door to speed up the cool-down. My main complaint (and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) is the broiler.
Summary: Looks very high end. A little noisy but nothing that is bothersome. There is a metallic smell that comes out of it when I start it but I guess it is new.So it might take some time before the smell dissipates but that smell is never transferred to food . I have baked pizzas and it is fantastic...cooking is even. The touch buttons needs effort but the LED screen is very nice.
Summary: We have the KitchenAid EvenHeat version of this Whirlpool AccuTemp, and you have to be warned that the AccuTemp does not work. I used the same process as the service techs use to test the oven temp (45 minute pre-heat, wireless thermometer, measure temps for 20 minutes) and with the oven set at 350 degrees the CENTER of the oven is indeed 350 degrees. But 8 inches for the center, the temp of the oven goes all the way up to 395 degrees. That's 45 degrees HOTTER.
Summary: We spent a tremendous amount of money on a Whirlpool. It certainly looks good. Unfortunately, once we turned on self-cleaning it stopped working. Not much point in having a feature that shuts the over down and makes it completely unresponsive. We are now scrambling to get the oven repaired urgently--and Whirlpool customer service are closed on Sundays.
Summary: We actually bought this oven from Best Buy. The oven is nice looking and cooks great. However, it is very noisy. The oven's fan runs all the time during the cooking process as well as the time it takes to cool it down.
Summary: We bought this oven 5 months ago. On the positive side, it gets hot and bakes; but that's about it. On the negative side, I had read several reviews about the fan being loud. Well, it IS loud, even louder than the noise from our dishwasher. It is quite annoying until it cools itself down after cooking a meal.
