Conclusion: We purchased this to replace our oven of 16 years. The "fan" makes a lot of noise compared to our previous oven. It sounds like it's a convection oven even though it's electric. Also, the fan continues to run during cool down after it is turned off for as long as it took to cook.
Conclusion: I have to echo all of the other reviews here regarding the ridiculous fan noise and slow preheating. The one star is for overall looks, capacity, and it really does bake and broil well. However, the glass in the top oven door shattered halfway through my very first self-clean cycle.
Conclusion: This was the standard appliance supplied by the builder in our new home. I would not recommend this oven to anyone. It takes way too long to preheat and it has a very noisy fan that operates not only when the oven is on but for 30 or more minutes after turning the oven off.
Conclusion: Was so disappointed in the oven. The fan was so loud that we could not carry on a conversation in the kitchen when it was running. I'm so sad that the new ovens are like this. I loved my last Whirlpool. Sent this one back to the store and bought another brand.
Conclusion: Would of given this five stars except for the noise involving the cooling fan. Overall, performance is fine. Ease of use a plus. Easy installation and aesthetically looks great. Functions well. Whirlpool needs to fix the fan issue.
