Summary: I replaced an existing 24" wall oven so installation was fairly straigtforward. The oven works great including the self cleaning feature. Front panel is attractive and controls are logically arranged with the expected features like set temperature, clock, and timer. Biggest disadvantage for me was cost. Although I caught this unit on sale, wall ovens still seem to be far more expensive than conventional floor standing oven/range combo units.
Summary: I replace my old unit with this model and it bakes and broils nicely with even heating and excellent cooking results. I have not used the self cleaning feature yet but, I'm glad to have it. I think the finish was worth a bit more as it matches my refrigerator. I removed the old unit and installed this one myself with no problem. The price was in line with other well known brands with similar features.
Summary: My oven worked amazing until the first self cleaning and then everything worked except it wouldn't heat up at all. I called Whirlpool and they say they don't recognize it as a problem and that they won't cover any costs involved. There are several complaints online about people having the same issue, but Whirlpool doesn't think it's an issue. Great oven, but be prepared for this to happen.
Summary: Recently installed this oven and overall it is o.k. It cooks food well and bakes evenly. The only thing is that the fan is extremely noisy. I wasn't used to this because my last wall oven didn't have a fan that ran the whole time it baked. I was under the impression that the fan would come on as needed to cool down the temp during cooking process to better distribute heat, and to cool down the unit after baking. Good product it seems, just beware of the fan!
