Summary: This oven replaced the original oven that was installed when my house was built in the early 1960's. This oven was a perfect fit, and comes up to temperature rapidly. I gave it a real workout over the Thanksgiving weekend with both the upper and lower oven flawlessly working for hours on end. I am very happy with this oven and with AJ Madison. AJ Madison had the lowest price anywhere on this oven.
Summary: Mine came with both ovens running 15° to 20° hot, requiring a service call to adjust them. The lower oven still runs about 10° too hot. The fan is loud and sometimes emits a loud buzz, even when cooling down after turning the unit off. Unfortunately this never happens when the service guy is present.
Summary: "We are very pleased with purchase of this oven and our overall experience with Appliances Connection. Each deserves our highest recommendation and we would definitely do business with them again!
Summary: My spouse and I couldn't be happier! After months of searching and shopping here in Canada for a replacement for our 35 year old Jenn-air dual wall oven, we finally got the whirlpool as a replacement. It meets all Electrical and CSA requirements. I installed it myself in just under 1-1/2 hours and it works like a charm.
Summary: We are very happy with the appearance of the double oven. We are still in the process of calibrating the temperature. It does not register at the correct temperature when it heats up. Still getting used to the new digital buttons. Have not tried out the self-cleaning feature.
Summary: we were needing to replace an older oven about the same size and the comment from a previous buyer about the larger interior hooked us. It arrived in a week and we installed it over the weekend. It fit perfectly and workes just as promised. The glass on the door was scratched from the shipping material but a call to the service dept. was made and we received the replacement glass in another week or so.
Summary: I used the self cleaning part once and the clock part of the control panel burned out. Last week, when the oven was exactly six years old, I went to turn it on, and it would not go on. The lights turned on, so we knew the electricity was getting to it. My husband took the control panel out and it was obvious from looking at the panel that there were several areas on it that were blackened. The search for the electronic control panel replacement has been fruitless.
Summary: Run away from this oven! I bought mine in late 2004 and it has had two control panels go bad. Google "display dim" or "display out" for this oven and you will find the control panels faile every two years or less. Only remanufactured panels are available from whirlpool at a cost of over $400. The panels are often backordered (unavailable) from Whirlpool and their response is that you will have to buy another oven.
