Summary: "I received my new oven at 11:15 pm - it was securely crated and delivered into my garage by two friendly truck drivers. I had the wall oven professionally installed by area electricians - while it was an inch and a half smaller than my previous 70`s era wall unit, however the next size available would have been too big. I purchased this model with all the bells and whistles because that`s what I wanted.
The self cleaning mechanism had a recall and all the new units do not have the problem

Summary: After reading the reviews on the problem on self cleaning, I called Whirlpool at 800-4221230. All new units have had the problem fixed and there was a recall on the older units. Call for yourself if you don't believe me. This is the perfect small oven that fits cookie sheets and large roasting pans. Most 24" ovens do not have as large of an interior capacity. Well worth the price tag!
Summary: Even though we spent more than we wanted to (wall ovens are expensive in general and our oven space is very small) we are glad we did. This oven cooks everything perfectly, and the convection-conversion takes all the guess work out of it. The oven does all the work for you. Press a few buttons, and walk away! I love the built in timer. It even shuts down after your cook time is up.
Summary: I had a whirlpool oven that stopped working after a few years. I replaced a year and a half ago with a Kitchenaid convestion oven. The thermal fuse blew after the first cleaning. I had similar problems with the Whirlpool. YOu would think that they could fix this. I have a self cleaning oven that you can't self clean. Avoid a all costs. I'm sure that if you bought the latest product today it would have the same problem. Poor Poor products.
