Yamaha Lightspeed CRW2100 EZ 16X IDE CDRW

2CPU.com
21 May 2008
  • Excerpt: As I write this article, I'm duping all the software I've needed backups of for some time... Windows Millennium.... W2K Advanced Server... BackOffice 4.5... Ultra rare U2 MP3's... Why am I doing this? Because I am the proud owner of a Yamaha LightSpeed 16X IDE CD-RW.

Yamaha LightSpeed CRW2100EZ

PC Magazine
5 March 2003
  • Excerpt: The new Yamaha LightSpeed CRW2100EZ ($300 street) can't leap tall buildings in a single bound, but this mild-mannered-looking CD-RW drive will rip audio CDs almost faster than Superman can tear a phone book in half. The LightSpeed showcases Constant Angular Velocity (CAV) technology. In tech terms, a CAV system keeps the disk spinning at the same speed whether the read/write head is accessing a small inner track or a large outer track.

Yamaha CRW2100E-VK

CNET
31 May 2001
