Do not buy!

Anonymous, Newegg
22 July 2006
  • Summary: Since it is easy to transfer DV sources directly to your computer, and since this product is incapable of reliably burning from non-DV sources, and since Sony support doesn't exist, this is a waste of money.
  • Pros: User friendly controls.
  • Cons: Despite the assurances of some here, I agree with those who warn against this product. It will not, repeat, WILL NOT reliably buirn DVDs from non-DV sources. Out of 15 DVDs recorded, fully one third are unaccepatable, with the stuttering and pixilation described here.
