Cons: Somehow the SATA power cable connector chipped on it. Definitely was not my own doing as I never force anything enough to break a hard piece of plastic. My guess is it came that way but regardless it has worked fine despite not being able to fully plug in the SATA power cable.
Pros: I have been using this drive for over 3 years now with no issues at all. I have used it for burning all of my system backups, installing all disk based software, and ripping CDs. Uses SATA power and data

Pros: Worked perfectly fine for the first 2 years, but then it started developing problems
Cons: Aforementioned problems: -Tray does not eject anymore. That's with the eject button on the actual unit, and trying to eject via UI -Completely stopped reading any type of discs. The computer detects the drive just fine; it's visible to Windows and the BIOS, but no CD can be read at all
