Summary: I bought this DVD burner to burn some recruitment dvds for my fraternity. The burner worked smothly for about the first 10 but after that we had to throw about every 5th one out. It left cirlces on the edge where no burning had been done and we got a message that said hardware problen.
Summary: For under $xx, it's not a bad buy. The installation was plug and play, and the software installed without a problem. That said, It has issues with reading a couple of DVD's I have. That's a little upsetting, but I can deal with it, considering I'm not using it as a DVD player.
Summary: If you look closely you will notice that the front plastic panel is wider than the metal box of the drive. This means that this drive won't fit fully into most cases (I tried two different cases) and will be sticking out.
Excerpt: A good CD/DVD burner. Reads and burns CD's and DVD's (-R, -RW or +R, +RW) with no problems. (with firmware version US09, - note: 0 is a zero) Plays DVD films with no problems. Supports digital playback of CD's. Works with Nero, Pinnacle, Deep Burner and every other burning program I have used.
Summary: En avril 2005, j' ai acheté une tour à Carrefour de marque PowerNet avec ce graveur à l' intérieur. Ce modèle se trouvait être d' une grande marque ainsi que tout les composants de la tour donc j' en ai fait l' acquisition.
