Samsung - Poor Customer Service - These drives are Bad New in Box

Summary: This is the second SE-208 Drive I have ordered ... one back in 2012 and this one around October 2013. Both units are bad and cannot read CDs or DVDs. This 2012 was sitting in the box for a year ... wouldn't work at all.
Not happy with it. I had 2 both broke after a few use

Summary: My computer does not have a DVD player. My son bougt this one for me as X-mas gift. I used a few time and broke. I thought I didn't use it with causion. I bought another one jsut like this one. But after maybe10 use, it broke again.. it is a bad design. i will never buy it again.
Summary: This is the second Samsung drive I have purchased, neither of which worked. Was hoping to have luck with this one since it was a different model, but I guess I'll just never buy another Samsung product again.
Summary: I purchased this DVD drive early December 2011, and had to send it in for repair in June, now again in September. It's been a different failure each time. The first service order was easy to file, the second has been incredibly frustrating. I no longer trust this particular product.
Summary: I currently have a Samsung series 9 laptop, which as most tech geeks would know, is super compact and therefore does not have an internal CD drive. And since I already shelled out over a thousand bucks for the laptop, I was looking on amazon for an external CD drive that wouldn't cost me an arm and...
