Internal Drive

Carl S., Newegg
7 June 2014
  • Summary: I got this to put into an external enclosure and it is still working great.
  • Pros: Near flawless drive. I say near flawless only because I haven't tried all types of media. It does read all of the current ones on the market. It really depends on a lot of factors. Computer's CPU speed, Memory size, updated drivers. I used DVD Fab latest version and everything I fed into the driv...
  • Cons: If you have this in a dusty environment I'd advise you to get a disc cleaner and do this once or twice a month. If you get errors try cleaning it first.

Stancey B., Newegg
30 March 2014
  • Summary: Recommended for any new build especially for a home theater pc.
  • Pros: -Burns everything: CDs, DVDs, and Blu-Ray. -Plays everything (above). -3D play back! with compatible monitors/projectors/tvs -cheap! -Sata connection -software included
  • Cons: -No lightscribe, even thought all my other pc's have that feature, I've never used it. No biggie.

Smooth

Daniel M., Newegg
5 October 2013
  • Summary: I wonder why other manufacturers don't use LiteOn's anti-Vibration technology. Wish it had come with software,
  • Pros: Burns & plays whatever you want to after you get BluRay software. The reason I got another one is because it spins smoothly with no vibration or noise when burning or playing.
  • Cons: No included software.

User Review

Brandon W., Newegg
6 June 2013
  • Pros: Bought this a couple of years ago for a build I was planning. I put it in my old computer and used it and just built my new rig and transferred it over. Still running great with no issues.
  • Cons: Software didn't run very fast in old computer but have not had time to use it on new rig so it will probably run better with quicker load times. I believe it was since the old one was not up to par any more.

Just works.

Christopher D., Newegg
14 May 2013
  • Pros: No problems with installation or use. Windows 7 picks it up and can start burning immediately. This thing is quiet and works great.
  • Cons: None yet. Ownership is less than a year but so far everything is great.
