Pros: i have had this drive for some time now... a replacement for my beloved Pioneer 106.... i have had good results with it thus far... with Imgburn, this drive buffer was jumping all over the place...but with Nero, it has been rock solid... recommended
Summary: I remember paying $400 for a HP CD burner back in the late 90's and now $20 for a DVD burner. Times sure have changed. When using my finger to push the tray door closed the other burners I've owned responded with little pressure. Not the LG. It will, but it takes more pressure giving it a very well built and solid feel. Overall, the LG has a much more superior feel than any burner I've ever had.
Pros: No problems whatsoever. Has a very solid feel.
Summary: I was attracted to the LG brand at the price. With any brand, I've learned to expect only about a year of service, even with blowing dust/fuzz out regularly (not a year yet with this unit). At this price, why not get a well-reputed brand.
