Summary: Driver/software disk/downloads were simple and problem free under Vista. It comes with a disk that includes the PowerDVD Suite that I immediately upgraded online. I primarily use Media Center but I like the frame capture capability in Power DVD.
Summary: The CyberLink software (HD-DVD / Blu-Ray player) leaves a lot to be desired. The video and audio can get out of sysnc in seconds, then a few seconds later, back in-sync, only to lose audio and get back out of sync within seconds again. The video is rock solid, but the audio is on a roller coaster.
The rare quality of HD DVD and Blu-ray, plus Blu-ray burning.

Summary: This is one of the few and soon to be discontinued examples of a computer optical drive that can read the now obsolete format HD DVD. However this is not possible without the supplied Cyberlink Software that is provided.
Can be used with Vista 64 bit and does not loose HD playback

Summary: Not sure why people are having problems with the software on either 32 bit or 64 bit PC's. I have 2 of these drives installed on a 32 bit Vista and 64 bit Vista without any issues with updating the software or anything else.
Summary: Took less than 48 hrs from ordering to arrival. Excellent. Fitted the writer into my computer with no problems. Burnt my first Blu Ray disks yesterday.(LG and Intenso). Used Pinnacle Studio Editing System, Good quality picture. Very pleased.
Summary: As the others, yes nice drive, decent software Cyberlink hi-def suite with the retail version too which is lacking with some drives, this drive writes blu ray but the GGCH i think it is only plays blu ray, mission finding that out!!
