Rob, Amazon

  • Summary: This drive was just what I needed for my home theatre pc. It was small and played 3D blurays. For the most part it has done a great job, BUT I have encountered at least on movie it did not like.

12mm "thick" slim drive

W. Toner "amigabill", Amazon
14 January 2015
  • Summary: I got one of these inside a Pawtec brand USB3 external kit. Works well, and I am very happy with functionality so far. (burned a 25GB BD-R, 50GB BD-RE data disks, and then watched a Bluray and DVD movie) This is a 12mm thick drive, so do be aware of your laptop's slot size.

The drive works like a charm

Gregg A. Lebovitz "glebovitz", Amazon
23 November 2014
  • Summary: I bought this drive for $80 to go with my Macbook Air. I wanted a Bluray quad r/w so I could write 150GB discs if necessary. I also bought a slim usb3.0 case on Ebay for $10 so the entire layout was less than $90. The drive works like a charm.
