Pros: Region selection up to 5 times (DVD and BDR), Stable drivers, Cyberlink accompanying software when coupled with Ultra 10 upgrade = excellent playback of Blu-ray titles. Data Burner speeds are adequate, burns and reads double layer BDRW and BDR .
Cons: Minimal Technical support. Blu-ray titles require Cyberlink ultra-10 upgrade.
Summary: technology is getting developed from day to day so we should also travel with it. well we wont see dvd in near by future . and only Blu-ray rules so a must buy product. . a little too expensive but they do mean it.
Summary: A blu ray drive for the PC with the added conveniece of software to play blu rays on your pc. as there arent't many free softwares for playing blu ray disks on a computer strange as it may seem. No damage and well packaged must congradulate for the quick turn around.
Summary: Nice looking front, sata interface. Great quality on lightscribe and great software package to run a few burning duties. Works well with regular CDRs and DVDRs. Bought cheap Verbatim 2X BD-RE disk, the drive took three hours to write 22Gig of files. Only real reason the drive lost a point was that on loading an operating system, no matter what I tried, I couldn't boot from this drive thus I think it is not a bootable drive, no matter what I set in the bios.
