An External BD/DVD Read/Writer that does everything to BD &DVD

Summary: I began by mistakenly ordering two(2) units from J&R through Amazon. I had to call Amazon's customer service quickly to change my order. The service people at Amazon were very polite and handled my order problem with no hassles. So, only one(1)LG-BE12LU38 was going to show up at my door.
Summary: I am replacing a ONE star to a FOUR star review as it is the company- Life's Good who is responsible for making a faulty BD burner/player. Ocean Reef did provide a return slip with postage paid, so they get good marks for that.
Summary: The software and drive worked without any difficulties in conjunction with Adobe Encore. My laptop e-SATA link works very fast with the drive. I'm not sure about the software continually asking for user input every time I booted up - so I turned it off; don't have the time.
Summary: If you plan to use light scribe multimedia with this product, don't buy it. Even though it says on the box "supports lightscribe," the software does not recognized the driver. I send it back to be reviewed for an LG technician, but when I got it back, it still none of the softwares recognize it.
Summary: This is a great burner just wished had a better support for Mac. Although LG clearly says that this is a PC drive but works with Mac too. Of course there is no support for Mac so you are on your own. So far so good with my Mac Pro late 2010. On and off switch in the back is hard to reach!
Summary: I bought this burner for two main reasons, the Blu Ray burning and the LightScribe feature. I have not burned any Blu Ray discs yet, mostly just DVD-R and all the burns have been successful. The LightScribe on the other hand has not been so great.
