The Asus DRW-2014L1T is an optical drive that has CD and DVD burning capabilities and also features Lightscribe technology. This CD/DVD burner, which measures 5.8 x 1.7 x 6.8 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 1.5 pounds, is compatible with Microsoft Windows NT, 2000, XP and Vista.

Features

With LightScribe compatible discs, which laser etches text or graphics directly on the disc, the user can easily personalize each disc without using stick-on labels.

The DRW-2014L1T also has several features designed to ensure optimal recording quality. FlextraLink is designed to prevent problems caused by buffer underrun by constantly monitoring the data buffer status. The FlextraSpeed and AI Auto Speed Adjustment technologies ensure accurate and reliable recording by automatically setting the ideal writing speed. Lastly, the DRW-2014L1T features an Auto Vibration Reducing System (AVRS) which reduces the vibrations caused by the drive’s motor and the resonance between the PC’s components.
