Summary: Overall this looks and feels like an excellent drive. I bit bigger and heavier than I expected, as I've only had internal DVD/CD drives. I think they needed a bigger heavier motor and gears to get the speed and accuracy this thing has. Plugged it in and it installed PnP right away.
Summary: This burner is plug and play compatible. I haven't yet loaded the CD-rom, just been using the DVD and Blu-Ray software that came bundled with the computer. Between out of the box and burning my first Blu-Ray disk was all of 10 mins! Great product, quiet, easy, sleek, good looking.
Excerpt: It works just as I expected. The only problem I have experienced so far is that sometimes when I push the button to open the drive it takes a while before it finally opens. Apart from that it seems to do everything I wanted. Pleased with my purchase.
Excerpt: Before purchasing, I was very unclear about whether or not this works with a Mac, but so far it's worked flawlessly with my iMac on Yosemite. It burned a 23 GB blu-ray disc in about 11 minutes, which is pretty fast. No drivers needed, just plug and play.
Excerpt: I use it to upload apps that I am not able to download, but the speed of this writer to install the apps is real blazing. I just wish that they had USB 3.0 years ago....This item is worth buying if you need to install apps, and the footprint of it does not take up much room, as I have mine mounted...
Pros: Easy To Install, Easy To Use, Reliable Performance
Summary: I love my Blu-Ray Burner. It has not turned out one dud yet. The clarity of the finished product is amazing on the television. It took me a couple of days to figure out what they are calling an eject button, but it really is there.
