Excerpt: I love my new MacBook Air and was so happy to find that I can still watch movies with the USB SuperDrive. It's light weight and easy to use - just plug it in. What could be easier? I guess the only downside is that it must plug in. Hope some genius will come up with a Blue Tooth device - if that's even possible!
Pros: Durable, Easy To Configure, Lightweight, Quiet
Excerpt: With my two recent Macs, I've lost the ability to read any CD/DVD disks. This drive is relatively compact and works fine. Like most Apple products, this one is too expensive. That is the reason for 3 stars. I purchased this in a hurry after an order for a Samsung drive was backordered.
Excerpt: I haven't used this drive enough yet to really test it, but so far it has loaded two operating systems into my new MacBook Pro with no problems. After one installation, though, it would not eject the disc. I had to unplug it and plug it back in and then was able to use the eject button under Finder/Remote Disc. That being said I am still glad Apple decided to not include a drive in this fantastic machine.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Configure, Lightweight, Quiet, Versatile
Excerpt: In order to install software that I already own on my new MacBook Pro,I had no choice but to buy the optical drive. It's a sleek little thing, like the laptop. It's speedy and does what I need. Got a good price fromB&H.
