Excerpt: I recently upgraded form windows XP to vista and its clear that the improvement is a good one, the looks of everything have been changed and graphically upgraded. The smoothness of the software is flawless and the amount of new tools is also great. My favorite small update is the side toolbar that allows you to add tools like a clock, WiFi graph, calculator and lots of others.
Excerpt: I have been running Vista Home Premium on all of my computers for around three years now, and I have to say I am getting really tired of all the insults that go towards it. Windows 7 is a better operating system than Windows Vista. I'm not going to deny that. However, 7 is also much more expensive than Vista, and money is not something I have in abundance at the moment.
Excerpt: "We uninstall Vista" a sign showed in a shop window. Ever since it was released, Windows Vista has got negative reviews, with people, disliking it so much they want to revert back to XP. I can't claim to know a great deal about computers and operating systems, but I can compare Windows XP to Windows Vista from a novice's point of view. And I can't seem to agree with the general hatred of Microsoft's newest operating system.
great operating system, can't wait to see what the upgraded version is like!

Excerpt: Vista has been given a lot of bad reviews and when mentioning vista many people will immediately quote the initial reviews on its release, the annoying too-tight and interfering security messages for one. This has been much improved and the premium version gives the home computer much more features than the standard package.
Excerpt: I had heard alot of bad press about vista. When i started using it i hated it and wanted to go back to XP but i thought i will stick with it for a while and see how i got on. Once i got use to the features and where everything was and turned of the annoying pop ups that always appear everytime you try and install and unstall programs ect i found that it is really easy to us.
Vista has got past it's problems and is now a great OS choice

Excerpt: Microsoft Windows Home Premium version is a great operating system for home users who require more advanced features than are available in the basic version of the software. It offers a great mix of features and is more cost effective than the Ultimate edition of Vista-making it, in my opinion, the best desktop Operating System available today.
Excerpt: Ease of Use - The Menu's are much easier to navigate through than in the XP version of Windows, and for those who hate change, the menu's can be switched back to XP format at the click of a mouse. Visually - The views are widely customisable, with the ability to make windows see through and easily switch between open programs is great.
Excerpt: Before I buy anything to do with my computer, I always read reviews about the product, and when I read reviews about Vista, it was a mixture of both bad and good, so based on the good, I upgraded from XP. When I first started using, I knew instantly that it was a frsh operating system that was much better than all others before it.
