  • Conclusion: Unless you have powerful reasons for using anything else, you probably ought to use OS X.

Apple Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion)

MacWorld
25 December 2011
  • Excerpt: In a decade, Mac OS X evolved from a curious hybrid of the classic Mac OS and the NextStep operating system to a mainstream computer operating system used by millions. It was a decade of continual refinement, capped by the bug-fixing, internals-tweaking release of Snow Leopard in 2009.

Mac OS X Lion review: a shock to the system

Good Gear Guide.au
4 December 2011
  • Summary: In the past, Apple has charged $129 for upgrades with far fewer improvements than this, and that price upgraded just a single system. At $30 for all the Macs in your world, the only reason not to upgrade to Lion is because you rely on old PowerPC-based apps that won’t run on it. Otherwise, it’s a more than fair price for a great upgrade.
  • Pros: Great price
  • Cons: Many features are different to Snow Leopard

Apple Mac OS X Lion

Computing.co.uk
31 October 2011
  • Summary: The new features in Lion [Mac OS X 10.7.1] make it a worthwhile upgrade for Mac users. The main added feature in the October 10.7.2 point upgrade is access to Apple’s iCloud, allowing users to upload, download and sync media content, such as music, photos and videos, to this public cloud storage from other Apple devices, such as the iMac and iPad, and also from Windows PCs.
  • Pros: Provision of iCloud public storage; native support for Thunderbolt connectivity
  • Cons: The overlay scroll bars (from iOS) are sometimes hard to grab using the MacBook Air’s trackpad; multi-touch gesturing sometimes didn’t work for us when using certain gestures.

Обзор операционной системы Apple Mac OS X 10.7 Lion

gagadget
2 October 2013
