Summary: I felt the need to post my first ever review for a game on Amazon because of the ridiculous 1 star reviews. This game is a SURVIVAL game. This is not an action game. If you are looking for fast paced gunz'a'blazing shoot'em up, this is not it. This is a tense, gritty, hard, survival game. The atmosphere is incredibly spooky. The gameplay is immersive bordering on realism. If you own a Wii-U, are an adult, and enjoy a thrilling challenge or fright, get this game.
Summary: Why isn’t ZombiU one of America’s iconic games? America loves Zombies. America loves video games. America loves stuff about London. Is America mad at Nintendo? We shell out $60 for a buggy and unfinished product in Titan Fall. Meanwhile, ZombiU is a bargain basement game on Amazon for $10. I have been a massive fan of survival horror games since the 1990's. Out of the hundred or so horror themed games that I have played, ZombiU ranks in my top 5 favorite monster games.
Summary: "ZombiU" effectively captures exactly what survival horror fans crave: tension and scares. It's first-person, there are guns, but it's not a "shooter." Ammo and inventory space is limited. You start with a melee weapon and a pistol, with more weapons and upgrades collected along the way. The GamePad is used for sorting items and navigation, and also for scanning the environment similar to "Metroid Prime.
A lack of QA and polish made right by very strong gameplay and atmosphere

Summary: I'll be upfront about the fact that I did encounter a crash that completely froze the game up and lost me maybe 30 mins of progress. And that the load times are pretty bad. Normally that would be enough to put me off a game, but I kept coming back because they really nailed the tension created by well punctuated zombie attacks with only just enough resources to deal with them.
Summary: Very intense game, not a run n gun at all. Unlike the newer resident evil games it takes some thought and some strategic planning. I recommend it to any survival horror fan. Don't listen to those negative reviews, I'm assuming they are Call of Duty fans, which I enjoy too, I just have a more broad spectrum of taste in games.
Summary: I absolutely love Zombi U. Don't expect a game where you'll be immersed in some incredible storyline and lovable characters-this game isn't really about that. It's all about creating a terrifying atmosphere where you feel really alone and where you get legitimately scared and panicked when a group of zombies comes out of nowhere. Sometimes I find myself fumbling through my inventory haphazardly when I'm caught off guard by zombies because I wasn't prepared for it.
